Last month, during a grand visit by grandpa garlic, we made it down to NYC and then to Niagara Falls. Somehow, all of my pictures of NY have disappeared off of my computer in the last few weeks.....#!@#*!
Actually, I don't mind so much. It was big and fun, we got really tired feet, ate some great pizza, watched people playing chess in a park, the girls rode on a ferris wheel inside a toy store, and Jason even got star spotted (the employees at the toy store thought he was Brad Pitt out with his kids....heehee.)
New York City has its own kind of beauty.....and so does Niagara!

In the above picture, you can see the American Falls (near) and the Canadian Falls (far). We took a boat out to see them, and got wet!

This is the U.S. side, they are called the Rainbow falls.
This is a distant look at the Horseshoe falls, the Canadian side (and a tidbit of Toronto on the right).
This is a closer glimpse of the Horseshoe falls. Since its a horseshoe shape, this is only a portion of the full length of these falls.
The sun was shining so bright, that when we got into the heart of the horseshoe falls, this is all we could see. In fact, I had to take this picture with my eyes closed because of the spray and blinding sun.

Nakiah didn't start enjoying it until it was over.
Miss T. got misted and fully enjoyed it.
More rainbow falls.

Feeling the spray! Toronto behind. Wish we could have gone there......
